The Holidays are soon upon us!

For most of us, the holidays are a time of getting together with family and friends to celebrate thanks and good cheer. However, holidays for some seniors are lonely, depressing and dangerous times. Suicide rates oddly have not proven to increase during this time, but it's a time for families to perhaps see changes in their elders living and health condition. When family members live distances apart and usually only communicate via phone or email, seniors can "hide" the difficulties they are struggling with.

So, while the holidays can be joyous occasions, it's also a time for members to take inventory of how their loved ones are really doing.

I will follow up with warning signs on a future Blog.!
