Sad Around the Holidays

The Holidays are purported to be full of fun, family and friends enjoying each other. They are for some, but not for some of our elders, whose family and friends are no longer nearby or visit. Please be attuned to this, and drop in on an elderly neighbor, visit a nursing home to see who doesn't have visitors, call an elderly family member to see how they are doing, or offer to bring them to your house for some Holiday cheer.
